Nancy Lee Howe

Nancy age 71, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 30, 2021, with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 1, 1949, in Bay City, Michigan to the late Clarence and Viola (Wegener) Barth. Nancy married the love of her life Chuck Howe on December 10, 1966, at Beaver Zion Lutheran Church. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, enjoyed crocheting and teaching her granddaughter how to crochet. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time at the casino. Most of all family was her passion. Surviving besides her husband of 54 years are her loving children; Charles Howe II, Michelle (Greg) Gromaski, grandchildren whom she cherished Kaitlyn and Chase Gromaski.

She is survived by her sisters Julee (Dan) Pembroke, Jan Coss, Janet (Frank) Rash, Mary Jo (Len) Gorgol, her brothers Wayne (Juanita) Barth, Wayne (Peggy) Schmidt as well as many special brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews and her much loved pets Annie and Maggie. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, her stepmother and father Elmer Schmidt and Helen Barth, brothers James Barth, Paul Walsh, Gary (Sandy) Walsh, sisters Sandra (Jim) Dennis, mother and father-in-law Ralph and Katherine Howe.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at 11 am from Beaver Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Seth Hemme presiding with inurnment in Garfield Township Cemetery. On Wednesday, Nancy will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of service. The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to her second family at DaVita Dialysis and Southern Care Hospice for the compassionate care given to Nancy and her family. Nancy was a lady with a big heart and will be deeply missed by all.
