Rosemary Lynne Kocisky

Mrs. Kocisky, age 82, of Beaverton, Michigan, formerly of Linwood, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region. She was born August 23, 1937 in Bay City to the late John & Ruth (Rose) Slonske. She married Robert Don Kocisky on October 24, 1959 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pinconning. He predeceased her on February 7, 2014. She was a graduate of Pinconning Area High School Class of 1955 and she attended Michigan State University receiving a Laboratory Technician Degree. Lynn was employed as a lab technician at Mercy Hospital in Bay City, and later served in customer service with Schultz’s Gift Gallery in Pinconning. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, her casino trips and especially being with her family.

Surviving her are her children; Kim (Stephen) Willett, Kelly (Dennis Dick) Kocisky, Kay (Todd) Wheeler, and John Kocisky, three grandchildren; Kyle (Katie) Willett, Danielle Willett and Elizabeth Dick and three great grandchildren Winnie, Ceci and Tommy; sister in laws Mary Ann Kocisky and Mary Lee Gwinn also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held on Monday February 17, 2020 from St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor David Jung presiding with burial in St. John’s Cemetery. Those wishing an expression of sympathy as asked to consider St. John’s Lutheran Church.
