Jina K. Maddux

Jina K. Maddux, of Pinconning, Michigan. Our Angel Mother, sister, grandmother, daughter, and friend passed away September 11, 2022 at 6:45 pm, at her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on August 26,1963 in Bellevue, Michigan to the late Harold & Bonnie (Bennett) VanSyckle. When she was 15 years old, Jina left Michigan and met her husband Charles Maddux Jr. He preceded her in death in 2002. They had four children together; Shara (Ryan) Klenk, Stephen (Karista) Maddux, Anthony Maddux, and Alecia Maddux. Eight grandchildren; Briann (Abigail) Perlberg, Allyson Klenk, Gavin Klenk, Zoey Maddux, Harper, Sawyer, and Mathis Maddux.

She fought the breast cancer beast valiantly and with more positivity than anyone could have imagined. Even in the throes of pain, her positivity and faith in God never wavered. The light she carried with her will be missed by many who have loved her and carried her through this trial. Jina is like no other woman you will ever meet she had the heart of an Angel and the Spirit of a warrior. Her life has never been easy, but she wore her past hardships like armor. She was strong, independent, and had no filter, and always sincere. Her grandkids and children were her life. She loved her cats and doing puzzles.

Jina left this Earthly realm after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer. It would be wrong to say she lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. Through her we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like. There was no quit in Jina.

Lord,
Jina is remembered as a wonderful person, and a mother who would always reflect encouragement and strength to her loved ones and those around her. We honor and give her up to you remembering all the love and good things she showed and made us feel during her time her. We ask you to lead us and give us strength that knowing in our hearts she is at home with you and that we are stronger people as a family because of her. We will miss her and thank you for the time we shared. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen
