Constance L. “Connie” Wilson

Mrs. Wilson, age 75, of Pinconning, MI., passed away Friday August 26, 2022 peacefully at Huron Woods Nursing Center following a brief illness. She was born in Arenac County on February 7, 1947 to the late Steve & Dorothy (Snider) Lanczak. She married William Wilson on December 29, 1956 at St. Agnes Church, Pinconning. He survives her.

Connie worked many places over the years but retired from the State of Michigan Prisons-Freeland as a secretary and the Steelworkers Union Steward. She loved going fishing on Raber Bay, hunting, and especially going to the grandchildren’s motocross events/races with Bill and family. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish, Pinconning, St. Anne Society and a dedicated volunteer for the Community Clothing Center. She also, enjoyed crocheting, knitting, shooting pool on several leagues and listening to her favorite music.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years and the children Brian Michael & Julie Wilson, Bradley Raymond & Denise Wilson and Brandie Wilson; grandchildren Casey Love, Taylor Riojas, Evan Wilson, Alise Wilson, Darren Wilson, Dara Wilson and Brady Bergeron; great grandchildren Lian Love and Blakelynn Riojas; sisters Kathy Huovinen, Agnes Lanczak and Rita Maxwell and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Steve, Ken, Peter and Paul Lanczak.

Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Friday September 2, 2022 at 11 am from Holy Trinity Parish with Fr. Matt Federico presiding with burial in Fraser Township Cemetery. Family will greet friends and family on Thursday at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home, Pinconning, from 2 to 8 pm and a Vigil Service will be held at 7 pm at the funeral home. On Friday Connie will be moved to church for visitation from 10 am until time of mass.
