Delphine Whyte

Delphine (Ososki) Whyte, age 93, passed away the morning of June 16, 2024.

Delphine had lived in Pinconning most of her life and was currently residing at New Hope Bay Assisted Living Facility in Essexville. Delphine will lie in state at Holy Trinity (St. Michaels) Catholic Church; 225 S. Jennings St. Pinconning Michigan on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am Mass will follow with Rev. Fr. Matthew Federico presiding. Cremation will take place to honor her wishes. A private burial will take place at a later date with burial next to her husband, Neal, of 30 years, and grandson Ethan at
St. Michael’s Cemetery. Delphine married the love of her life, Neal J. Whyte on February 16, 1952. During the next 30 years, they raised 9 children. Together they owned and operated The Whyte Agency. Neal passed away on March 25, 1982, and Delphine continued to operate the agency until age 78 when she sold the agency and retired. Delphine was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church (Holy Trinity) and was a member of the choir where she enjoyed friends, singing, and music. Delphine’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, and family vacations. Delphine was an amazing woman whose love and quick wit will continue to spread with her family. Delphine is survived by her 9 children and their spouses: Neal Whyte, Mary (David) Marshall, Colleen (Dennis) Ingle, Kathleen (Scott) Friebe, Dan (Kim) Whyte, Raymond Whyte, Edward Whyte, Louie (Debbie) Whyte, Mark (Jennifer) Whyte. Janice Whyte, wife of Raymond preceded Delphine in death.

Delphine is survived by the following grandchildren: Ashley (Kevin) Stachowski, Jared (Jessica) Kernstock, Lucus (Renee) Ingle, Tylere (Kristen) Ingle, Brittney (Brent) Ingle, Drew Friebe (Fiancé Dorian), Wade Friebe, Paige Friebe, Kassidy Whyte, Jessica and Jaycee Marcott, Amanda (Brad) Hughes, Alexis and Jadynn Whyte, Allie Buchalski, and Angie (Jay) Ndibe. Ethan Whyte son of Mark and Jennifer, preceded Delphine in death. Her great-grandchildren are; Ryan, Nolan, Logan, and Kyrah Stachowski; Kayleigh Kernstock; Eli and River Ingle; Caleb Mullikin; Aven Whyte; Landon, and Finley Hughes. Kanye, Chimdi, Khloe, Olivia, Akachi, and Ike Ndibe. We are awaiting the arrival of another Ingle great-grandchild in August. Brylie, daughter of Allie Buchalski, proceeded Delphine in death. Delphine leaves behind her sister Mary Ann Garza, sisters-in-laws Mary Ososki and Janeen Ososki, also several nieces and nephews.

The Family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff of New Hope Bay, for their loving care of Mom as well as all the friends she met there. We would like to thank the members of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, as well as Saint Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church for your spiritual support and blessings. Thanks also to her many friends and previous customers who continued to reach out to her. You were all very much appreciated. We have truly been blessed.
