Dennis R. Landosky

Dennis R. Landosky passed away unexpectedly due to a health issue on June 25, 2022, with his family by his side. Dennis, age 62, was born in Bay City, Michigan to the late Adolph and Iris (Dobrinski) Landosky and remained a Bay County resident until the time of his passing.

He was a 1977 graduate of Bay City Western High School. After graduation, he started his career as a machinist (and a damn good one) working for Euclid Tool for 20 years. He then moved on to become a Supervisor at Rose Tool & Die in West Branch until a stroke in 2018. While working in the tool and die industry, he started his passion for farming which he also took with great pride. Dennis was proud of his John Deere tractors and especially proud that his family helped him on the farm.

On July 20, 1984, he married his true love of his life, confidant and best friend, Paulette Satkowiak, and together they started a family.

Dennis was one that everyone was very fortunate to have known. He was such a kind, gentle man that always put his family, friends and even strangers before himself. His unconditional love for his family was genuine and respected.
In his younger days, he enjoyed playing on softball leagues with his buddies where his homeruns were effortless. Due to the stroke, he was unable to remain a workaholic and had to learn how to slow down and relax. He enjoyed supervising the farm, daily crop tours, and stopping at the corner store to get a Mountain Dew. He enjoyed watching all kind of sports and one thing Dennis would not admit to was also watching reality shows.

What made Dennis smile from ear to ear was the joy of his grandchildren. He lit up every time they were near. His heart was fullest when spending time with his family.

Leaving behind to cherish his memories are his wife of 37 years, Paulette; children Jared (JoJo) Satkowiak, Jennifer (Tyler) Coursey, and Kellie (Boog) Bingham; grandchildren Jordan and Jayden Satkowiak, Chandler and Leah Bingham, and Jack and Ava Coursey. His brother David (Lynda) Landosky; father-in-law Larry Satkowiak; brothers-in-law Mark (Brenda) Satkowiak, Paul (Prizza) Satkowiak, and Greg Satkowiak; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Besides his parents and grandparents, Dennis is welcomed into heaven by his infant son, Eric, mother-in-law Beverly Satkowiak, sister-in-law Patti Satkowiak, and niece Lorissa Satkowiak.

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 30, 2022 from Prince of Peace (St Anne’s) Church, Linwood and cremation to followed. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Hospitality House in Flint or family wishes.
Dennis will remain well loved, missed, and cherished.

The family would like to thank Bryan from the Garfield Fire Department and the medical staff at MyMichigan for the care they gave to Dennis.

Rivertown Funeral Chapel, Kawkawlin, was in charge of arrangements.
