Florence G. Harrow
Florence “Gerri” Geraldine (Coish) Harrow, age 87, passed away November 23, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born December 10, 1933, to the late Andrew & Mae (Collins) Coish on Indian Island, Newfoundland, Canada. At age 17 she moved to St. John’s Newfoundland where she attended school and worked at Government House. After school she was employed by the U.S. Air Force where she met her husband, William Harrow. They were married in March 1955, he predeceased her in 1987. In 1993 she married Wayne Carruthers.
Gerri is survived by her husband Wayne, son William Jr. and family, brothers Alec, Wilbert, and Lloyd, sister Bernice, son-in-law; Angelo Rago & family, step-daughters; Andrea (Doug) Leitch and family, Kim (Kim) Kroczaleski and family, Amy (Rich Burk) Piedra and family, step-sons; Scott (Brenda) Carruthers and family, Dana (Kelly) Carruthers and family, brothers-in-law; Alan, Jerry, and Carl Harrow. Gerri was predeceased by daughter Susan Rago, brothers; Herb and Alvin, and sister Maisie.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 29, 2021, from Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Pinconning Chapel with Pastor Russ Poirier presiding. In lieu of flowers please consider Beacon of Light United Methodist Church Standish, Michigan or a charity of your choice.
