James (Jim) Haranda

James (Jim) Haranda, age 86, of Ludington, passed away Friday, March 6, 2020. He was born March 31, 1933 in Pinconning to Edward F. and Catherine (Gerhardt) Haranda. Jim married Jeanne E. Hages on May 7, 1966.

Jim is survived by his sons, Alan (Barb) Haranda and Scott Haranda, his step sons, Larry (Roxanne) Gerhardt, Mike (Kim) Gerhardt, and Chris Gerhardt, and his daughter, Joye (John) Samuels, his brother, Joseph Haranda, his sisters, Rosalia Belcher and Marian (Norman) Charters, and many grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife Jeanne, his brothers, George and Thomas Haranda, his sister, Cecelia Hewitt, and his step son, Randy Gerhardt.

According to Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are being held.
