Janet Helen “Cookie” Eurich

Janet Helen “Cookie” Eurich, of Pinconning, MI.

Janet, age 85, loving mother, aunt and friend, passed away in the early morning hours of April 13, 2026. Janet was born in the farmhouse in Fraser Township, Michigan to Frank and Edith (Raeck) Meyer on November 23, 1940. She married the late Larry D. Eurich on December 2, 1967, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pinconning.

For several years she cooked the St. John’s Harvest Dinner and served many funeral luncheons. She was a member of St. John’s Ladies Guild and Fellowship Board hosting many events. For many years she worked as a cook for various restaurants in Bay City, but most recently in the kitchen of Green Hills Golf Course, serving lots of events each year and making a lot of friends.

She is survived by a son, Larry D. Eurich II, a niece Dorothy J. Kridler, and nephews Gerald H. (Deborah) Pross, Todd Meyer and Mark (Shannon) Meyer. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, sisters Elaine (Herman) Pross and Ruth W. Meyer, a brother Walter (Virginia) Meyer and nephew Roy Meyer.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 24, 2026, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, from 10 am until time of service at 11am, with burial in St. John’s Memorial Cemetery at a later time. In lieu of flowers those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Pinconning Area Emergency Food Pantry or St. John’s Lutheran Church.
