Jeanne Marie Ordiway
Jeanne Marie Ordiway, 86, of Pinconning, MI, died peacefully at home on July 26, 2024. She was born September 23, 1937, in Isabella County to Carl Philp and Bertha (Burton) Philp. She was the oldest of six children. Siblings included Beverly Philp, Sharon (Dan) Monroe, Jim Philp, Marilyn Kay Philp, and infant brother, Carl. Jeanne’s parents and siblings all predeceased her.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Robert “Jim” Ordiway, daughter Pamela (Jeff) Fant, sons Dennis (Michael Stoner) Curtis, Richard Curtis, Robert (Karen) Ordiway, and Gerald (Theresa Paxton) Ordiway, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Jeanne was a licensed beautician and a member of the Rotary Club of Pinconning & Standish. Other interests included square dancing, crocheting, and baking for family and friends.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI, where a private memorial service will be held later.
