Joseph L. Markley
Joseph L. Markley (July 1940 - November 7, 2021) passed away peacefully in his sleep from end stage heart disease in Pahrump, Nevada.
Born in Detroit Michigan to Joseph and Beatrice Markley. He married his wife of 53 years, Frances Foley, in 1968, in Fenton Michigan. He served our country in the Army, and the State of Michigan in the Department of Environmental Health. He was also farmer and a small business owner in Michigan. He moved to Pahrump in 2014 after selling the Pointe AuGres Marina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law Dianna Markley and brother-in-law Marvin Juhas. He is survived by his wife, Frances, sisters, Barbara Juhas and Kathy (Robert) Martin, and brother, Russ, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Valley, Catholic Church, Pahrump, NV on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 11:00 am.
