Katherine was born in Bay City, Michigan, on April 10, 1979, to Art and Pam Shoultes. She spent her childhood growing up in Bentley, Michigan, and she was a proud graduate of Standish-Sterling High School. They were married at Dow Gardens, in Midland, Michigan, a place Katherine really adored spending time at whether it was her wedding or just a day trip with friends for lunch in the gardens. Some of her favorite hobbies consisted of reading, traveling, window shopping, nature viewing, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. She and Guy would often take weekend road trips to various locations, and the adventures they went on were one of her favorite things to do. Katherine was a woman with strong Christian values, and it was important for her to start her days with her Bible and her devotions. She was a very loving person who could put a smile on anyone’s face, and she will be missed dearly.
