Kim Patrick (Burrhead) O’Laughlin

Kim “Burrhead” O’Laughlin, age 65, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on December 21, 1956, in Bay City, Michigan to the late James & Betty (Monsion) O’Laughlin. He had a generous heart, always willing to help a friend in need. Kim was a visionary, having perfected the art and science of marijuana cultivation some 50 years before our culture realized the health and economic benefits! Though we were unable to verify it, we believed he coined the phrase “Pinconning Paralyzer.” It was rumored that he had the genetic sequence of the “paralyzer” committed to memory, but after smoking some he forgot the code! He loved to spend his time, hunting, fishing, and partying, all at the same time.

He is survived by his brother; Randy (Kathy) O’Laughlin, and their children; Sean (Ashley), Brandon (Storey) O’Laughlin, his sister; Lisa (Chris) Long and their daughter Jody TenHopen.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Todd.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 22, 2022, at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home at 7:00 pm with Pastor Roger Bauer presiding. Friends and family may visit from 5:00 pm until the time of service. Private burial will be held at a later date in St. Anne Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes that anyone that could make the time to visit family and friends that are home bound please do so.

Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home, Pinconning, MI, was in charge of arrangements.
