Patricia Burton

Patricia, age 85, loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019. She was born in Saginaw, Michigan on May 17, 1934, to the late William and Evelyn (Binden) Melvin. Patricia married Loyed Burton on November 8, 1956. Her husband Loyed was in the United States Marines. After he retired, they settled in Pinconning, Michigan. Patricia worked for the Pinconning School System for many years. She enjoyed going on their pontoon, camping, flowers, scrabble, crossword puzzles, and their dog Ginger.
Surviving are her daughters; Susan (Ronald) Fisher, Dianne (Bruce) Martin, Melanie Kudla, Julie Schultz, Janice (Tom) Meyer, her brother; William (Sharon) Melvin, sister; Marlene (George) Moray, Sister-in-law; Linda (Tom) Priest, brothers-in-law; Steve (Ginger) Burton, George (Pat) Burton, fourteen grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, August 4, 2019, from Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home- STANDISH Chapel, Pastor John Tousciuk presiding, with inurnment at Mt. Forest Cemetery.
Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home, Standish, MI, was in charge of arrangements.
