Patricia (Grossmeyer) Timreck

Patricia “Pat” Timreck, age 92, of Bay City, formerly of Pinconning and Tawas City, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. She will be dearly missed.

She was born the daughter of Maynard and Feryl (Pettibone) Grossmeyer on November 11, 1930. She graduated in 1949 from East Tawas High School in East Tawas, MI.

Patricia married Willard H. Timreck, of Tawas City, MI, on December 21, 1951, and they were married for 51 years until his passing in 2003. She retired from Bay Shores Nursing Center in Bay City, MI.

Patricia loved to read and enjoyed many hobbies including crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, knitting and crocheting, painting, camping, writing imaginative stories. Spending time with her family and friends was her favorite activity.
Surviving Patricia is her son Dean (Rita) Timreck, her daughter Deanna (Lance) Peacock, 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; plus, numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parent’s; her husband Willard; her brother William Grossmeyer; her sister Janet Reid; and her beloved youngest daughter Holly Miller.

Cremation has taken place per her wish. A small service for friends and family will be held in her honor at the Lee Ramsey Funeral Home at a later date. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Brian’s House.
