Robert (Bob) J. Patrick

Robert (Bob) Patrick, age 87, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Huron Woods Nursing Center, Kawkawlin, Michigan. He passed on his mother’s birthday. Bob was born on August 27, 1934, in Raber Township, Chippewa County, Michigan. The son of the late Matthew and Mary (Kiczenski) Patrick. Bob was retired from Bay City Foundry 1 Bay Cast after 37 years as a molder. He was involved in making the tracks for NASA space shuttle. Bob enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and bowling. He would ride his bicycle for miles every day and was known as Biker Bob! He never missed a night of “Wheel of Fortune” with Vanna White.

Bob married Leona Most on May 2, 1959, at St. Anne Church, Linwood, Michigan and celebrated 63 years of marriage. She survives him. Their marriage was blessed with three children: Mary (Jerry) Gutchak of Linwood, Teresa (Rich) Mowbray of Linwood, and Andrew (Tracy) Patrick of Selah, Washington. Grandchildren: Adam (Sarah) Gutchak, Angela (Joe) Mellott, Crystal (Mark) Celaya, Kurtis (Amber) Mowbray, Katelyn (Nate) Bauer and great-grandchildren: Taylor, Landon and Grant Gutchak; Ethan and Kylie Mellott; and Eugene Celaya. Bob was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Logan Robert Gutchak.

The family would like to thank, Huron Woods Nursing Center for the excellent care and all the love they gave to Robert for the last 7 months. Bob loved all of his caregivers and all the friends he made at the home.
According to Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private funeral service will be held at a later date with Minister Dorla Talaga presiding.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home, Pinconning, Michigan.
